Pastor Oliver Duvernay and the Central Missionary
Baptist Church Choir from the Lower Ninth Ward of New

needed to keep the furnace running. Call The Harvest to volunteer!
1. Prayer. Please keep us covered with your prayers as we
continue.
2. Money. Funds are needed to cover our small daily expenses.
3. Drivers. Drivers are needed to pick up foodstuffs. We are
part of the Food Rescue Network and pick up Little Caesar's pizzas 2 days a
week in the Greenwood area.
Please pass this information on to your friends and families. If you
want to help with pick-ups or become a
volunteer at BRCH, Inc., let us know and we will pursue it from there.

The Harvest is part of the Food Rescue Network (foodrescue.net).
Regular pick-ups of leftover food from Little Caesar's Pizza Restaurants and
Panera Restaurants are made by volunteers and delivered to The Harvest.
After bagging, the food is frozen for future distribution. The number
of pizzas that are picked up have exploded in the last few months. So
many pizzas are acquired that they are being also given to the Rush County
Food Pantry in Rushville. Contact The Harvest if you would like to
participate.

Ways you can help in the Lower Ninth Ward:
- Pray
- Send $$$ or gift cards for
Wal-Mart,
Home Depot or Lowe's. Many homeless people are living under
"the big bridge" on the edge of the lower ninth ward. Judy and
Charles go to this area and hand out sandwiches, bottled water, and a
bag of chips. Wal-Mart gift cards would help pay for the food for
this outreach.
- Go!!!
